3rd September 2014
Sorry for the lateness of the homework - however all of you should be able to manage the homework tasks without the blog (just this time).
Your mission for this week is to compose five questions that will guide your research on the topic of WWI.
After watching Capital E and also visiting the museum, you now have a very good foundation to make very strong questions to help you research.  Some of you have discussed the use of animals during the war and conscience objectors.  To just broaden your ideas - you may want to look into aerial combat in WWII.  'Dog Fights' are particularly fascinating.  So here are the steps:
1.  Write five open ended questions.
2.  Stick with these questions and use them to guide your research.  Keep the questions as topics to research and write about.
3.  Record your information in a way that you can present it easily to the class.  Remember to use key words and your own language.
4.  Make sure you understand and know what you are writing about.  (Own it).
5.  Write down the sites (or books) that you have used to gather information
Have this homework ready for Monday morning.

What not to do:
Cut and paste sentences and words from any documents and then claim the writing as your own.
